Kasarabada.org welcomes all !

This is the 214th issue of kasarabada.org.

This week we bring the 3rd chapter of Balakanda in Ramayana.

We started this venture to Balakanda in its entirety three weesk ago. These three weeks covered the first three chapters of Ramayana. These three chapters are unique in the sense that the first chapter oulined the complete Ramayana. The third chapter virtually lists all the important events of Ramayana. Together they contain the essential story of Ramayana. The first chapter has the presence of celestial sage Deavarshi Narada , the second chapter has the Brahma himself present virtually to instruct Valmiki to compose Ramayana in the sloka form. After some description of the effect of the composed poem as sung the twins Lava and Kusa in chapter 4 , the Ramayana story starts from chapter 5

Samkshipta Ramayanam being an important chapter of interest to many , we created a separate page for Sankshipta Ramayanam. This has options of only slokas or slokas with meanings too. Interested readers can visit this page .

The regular features as usual continue !!

One more thing carries on on a theme of goodness based on email received. We picked on our favourite topic - "Forgiveness" a topic of infinite happy endings !

Yes, Telugu home Page is also getting updated resolving technology issues !!.

For Telugu lovers - the Samkshipta Ramayanamu in Telugu in katha form ( gadyamu) as well as with Sanskrit slokas are made available.

Welcome to Kasarabada.org: ARCHIVES

With this Ugadi we started a page in Telugu titled - "Subbalakshmigari Kalam loninchi" . There is also a technology change. We are adding language support so that Indian language text van easily be accepted . Readers may see a bit of not so well formatted texts on the Telugu pages. Hopefully this will be resolved.

The extracts of an old book( 1899) by an Oxford Scholar on the History of Sanskrit Literature , appeared earlier under "one more thing" !!
